So....why crochet?
1) It's becoming an involving hobby as of late. It started in December, when I was in a job that I was starting to become not so happy in. I took up crocheting in order to deal with the stress surrounding it. After I was let go (and thankfully able to get another job soon after) I continued to crochet.
2) It's very simple to learn, at least for me, anyway. I've found that I could make stuff quicker in crochet than knitting, thereby getting more complete projects.
So far I've made quite a few hats, three shawls, a bunch of bags, three cowls, and I just finished my first afghan. I also recently made my first hat with a pom-pom on it, too.
What I plan on doing here is highlighting projects that I find online, as well as providing patterns for those projects that I made freehand. I also plan on highlighting those projects that I have on my Etsy store (UsingYourSkull) and eBay page.
